We met in Boston in 2018 when Daniela was doing a kind of study abroad gap year program with an amazing company called Winterline, where Julian worked.

There was definitely something there between them. So after the program ended, in classic Daniela & Julian fashion, they hatched a wild scheme to create an alumni marketing program so that they could have more time together.

A little while later they decided to go for it and try long distance. Then the pandemic happened and suddenly they were living together full time in Julian’s mother’s basement — which wasn’t challenging or weird at all!

To date, they’ve been to eleven countries together, including some pretty basic favorites: Japan, Spain, Switzerland, Argentina. Their regular haunts are Vietnamese restaurants, bookstores, beaches, and anywhere in the world with their “emotional support” dog, Trufa.

And as they say, the rest is history. Or, a good story to ask us about over a delicious glass of wine.
